Our story
On 25 January 1948, PAUL DAVE founded the salon « Coiffeur Paul » at the age of 26 at number 10 rue Bruyère Saint Jean in Waterloo. In January 1962, PAUL decided to move to the house where we are now located at number 13 and set up a brand new salon. Unfortunately, he was not able to enjoy it for very long; he left us a few days before the end of 1971.
The salon was then managed by his wife SUZANNE who knew how to keep the soul that PAUL had given to his business.
On April 1st 1979, SUZANNE hired CLAUDE who had just finished his apprenticeship. He very quickly integrated into this new environment thanks to the harmonious family atmosphere.
At the beginning of 1987, it was the turn of ANNICK, PAUL DAVE’s daughter, to take over the salon with the same spirit and the same efficiency.
In September 2015, it was the turn of AURELIEN, ANNICK’s son, to join our team, thus becoming the third generation of hairdresser in the family, after his grandfather and his mother.
And it is on January 1st 2018 that AURELIEN, son of ANNICK and grandson of PAUL took over from his mother who is now enjoying a well deserved retirement.
On 18 July 2021, CLAUDE, the salon’s most faithful employee, died at the age of 61. He worked 42 years in the salon with the sympathy and professionalism that he was known for.
Since the end of 2021, ROBERT and then QUENTIN have joined the team, forming a young and dynamic team in the atmosphere that the salon is known for.
